A24 gave Aster two blank checks. Neither paid off. And so the question becomes: does Aster still get to make the kind of films he wants to make?

Amazon unveiled its glossy new set of digital posters for every 007 film in the franchise, but fans noticed something off. Very off.

There’s been a lot of debate about whether the film should be considered a “success.” Despite very likely losing Warner Bros. a significant amount of money, it’s a major Oscar contender.

There’s no script. No release date. No cast. And Universal isn’t even certain it wants another one—at least not unless they can slash about $150M from the budget.

The film was shot on 35mm VistaVision by three-time Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki and, according to Iñárritu, will be released “sometime next fall.”

Tobias Menzies — best known for his work on “Outlander,” “Game of Thrones,” and “The Crown” — is reportedly in talks for a major role in Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part II.”

Akiva Goldsman wrote the script. Francis Lawrence is supposed to return to direct, and, of course, Keanu Reeves will reprise the lead role.
