‘Snow White,’ ‘War of the Worlds,’ and ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ Lead the 2026 Razzies Nominees

January 11, 2026 Jordan Ruimy

Here’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: the 2026 Raspberry nominees have been leaked, and the predicted guilty parties have been recognized.

Leading the way, with a total of six nominations, is Disney’s live-action “Snow White,” which was to be expected — it’s the type of movie the Razzies thrive on existing for. Rachel Zegler was “snubbed” in the Lead Actress category. Gal Gadot, who was not shortlisted, almost made the final five in the Supporting Actress category for her wooden performance as the Evil Queen — but the Tazzies disqualified her nom, for some reason.

Ice Cube’s “War of the Worlds,” shot during COVID — and which apparently had no director present on set? — nabbed six noms, including Worst Picture and Worst Actor.

Last year seemed to be quite the year for Paul Andersons, as the other one — the neglected and infamous master of disaster — had “In the Lost Lands,” starring his muse Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista, both nabbing noms.

Meanwhile, Trey Edward Shults’ “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” a The Weeknd vanity project in which the singer wandered around like a tortured prophet, did not escape the wrath of Mr. Raspberry, appearing in five categories, including Worst Picture.

Completing the Worst Picture category was Joe and Anthony Russo’s “The Electric State,” a $300M+ Netflix bomb starring Chris Pratt, sporting shaggy blonde locks, and Millie Bobby Brown. The Russos were “compensated” for this near-unwatchable misfire by being offered to direct “Avengers: Doomsday,” hitting theaters near you on December 18.

All in all, not too many surprises can be found in the nominees list. Jared Leto made Worst Actor for his irritatingly flat performance in “Tron: Ares,” and all seven of the “artificial dwarfs” in “Snow White” were honored in Worst Supporting Actor.

Some good news for Luca Guadagnino — although “After the Hunt” had made the shortlist for Worst Picture, it did not crack the top five.
