Two years after its TIFF world premiere, Atom Egoyan’s “Seven Veils” has finally been picked up for theatrical distribution. XYZ and Variance Films are teaming up to release the film on March 7. A trailer has also been unveiled.

Last month, a trailer for Alex Garland’s “Warfare” was released via A24. We’ve now learned that the film will be going the same route as last year’s “Civil War,” also directed by Garland. An April 11 release date has been set up for the film.

We don’t know much about Steve Spielberg’s “The Dish” (tentative title). David Koepp wrote the script, and it’s said to be a two-hander about UFO’s, but nothing else has leaked out in regards to the plot.

A few months ago, we learned that Jennifer Aniston was spearheading an attempt to remake “9 to 5.” She has apparently reached out to a batch of A-listers for the cast, including Sydney Sweeney, Zendaya and Ariana Grande who are “at the top” of her casting wish list.

I can already tell there’s going to be some desperately hyperbolic marketing when it comes to this movie. I don’t think Tom Cruise can afford to have yet another ‘Mission: Impossible’ underperform at the box office. There’s a lot riding here.
