Yesterday, “Wicked” earned $16M, the biggest box office Monday ever for November. Its totals could be sitting at $250M by Sunday evening. The film is a behemoth and driving ticket sales via Univeral’s brilliant marketing and strong word of mouth.

Compared to the hyperbolic first reactions, I’m seeing here a lot more mixed takes on the film. The film is set to hit theaters on December 25, and stars Timothee Chalamet as Bob Dylan.

Who wants a “Slumdog Millionaire” sequel? Absolutely nobody. Bridge7, a production company founded by former Netflix executive Swati Shetty and former CAA agent Grant Kessman, has acquired sequel and TV rights to the 2008 Oscar-winning movie.
