There’s barely any interest in Ali Abassi’s “The Apprentice.” The Donald Trump film, starring Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong, only made $150k last night. It's playing in 1750+ screens nationwide.

While the latest rumors have Kevin Costner nearing bankruptcy because of his failed ‘Horizon’ gamble, the actor has signed up to his first film role since shooting his $100M western.

It is unclear what the story will be this time around for this latest Spidey. However, Daniel Richtman is now reporting that production on the sequel is set begin on May 25 in the UK, it’s going continue on until October — that’s six months of shooting.

I love Francis Ford Coppola’s persistence. He’s going to probably lose well over $100M on his “Megalopolis” gamble and yet he’s saying he has two more films he wants to make before he can safely say he’s retired — both he wants to finance himself.

It’s been confirmed that “Terrifier 3,” which only cost $2M, will have a 2500+ screens rollout this weekend. Variety’s estimates have it opening at $13M, but as I said yesterday, it will likely exceed that amount and could even flirt with $20M.

Here’s a rumor. Beyond the Trailer’s Grace Randolph says she’s hearing that Nolan’s new film is more “genre-y” than his previous ones, and then seemingly mentions that it might actually be a horror movie. If that’s the case, then I’m certainly intrigued.
