April 2, 2019 Jordan Ruimy

I wonder if this will even be covered by media outlets. The director of “Leaving Neverland” is finally admitting that one of the alleged victims in the infamous Michael Jackson documentary may have perjured himself.

REPORT: Michael Jackson Daughter Hospitalized After Attempted Suicide...

March 16, 2019 Jordan Ruimy

Congratulations social media vultures, not to mention the mainstream media, your mob mentality when it comes to the Michael Jackson/Leaving Neverland fiasco has resulted in his daughter Paris Jackson attempting suicide by slitting her wrists [via TMZ]. Oh, and I do need to also congratulate the team behind “Leaving Neverland,” especially hack director Dan Reed, whose only claim to fame will be this hit-piece of a “documentary,” your attempt some kind of fame by making a four-doc condemning a guy that’s been dead for over 10 years now will not bode well when the history books attempt to look back on this part of the Jackson fiasco.

‘Leaving Neverland’ Trailer: Problematic and One-Sided HBO Documentary Has Abuse Victims Speaking Out

February 19, 2019 Jordan Ruimy
leaving-neverland-slice.jpg

I saw Dan Reed’s problematic “Leaving Neverland” a week, or so, ago and it disturbed me in more ways than one. First off, the graphically detailed description by James Safechuck and Mark Robson of how Jackson sexually abused them as kids makes for some uncomfortable viewing. But also, if you know the background of these two guys, Robson has, by all accounts, lied under oath about Jackson in a court of law, among other sketchy things, you start to also become disturbed by Reed’s one-sided argument.

“Leaving Neverland" Feels More Like an Opportunistic Hit-Piece Rather Than a Documentary [Review]

February 15, 2019 Jordan Ruimy
leaving-neverland.jpg

I can “review” HBO’s upcoming “Leaving Neverland” or just give an opinionated schema of Michael Jackson and his history of sexual abuse allegations towards underaged teenage boys. I’ll try to do both.
