I’m heartbroken by the news that Taika Waititi won’t be helming “Thor 5.” Such a shame.
I was really hoping he’d be able to run this character to the ground, but it seems as though Marvel boss Kevin Feige won’t be needing the services of the Kiwi filmmaker.
“Thor 5” is currently in development and they’re seeking a new director to helm the never ending franchise. There is no set date for when this film will get released. I presume Thor might also show up in “Avengers: Secret Wars.”
Waititi delivered a decent movie out of 2017’s “Thor: Ragnarok,” but completely struck out with 2022’s “Thor: Love and Thunder.” The best part of ‘Love and Thunder’ was Russell Crowe wearing a mini skirt, and completely hamming it up, as Zeus.
