I’m not at CinemaCon this year, but you gotta imagine Olivia Wilde being furious about what happened to her on Wednesday.
While presenting “Don’t Worry Darling,” her sophomore effort, on-stage, writer-director Wilde was abruptly interrupted by a mysterious man who gave her an envelope. It turns out, Wilde was being “served” by ex-partner Jason Sudeikis for the custody of their two children.
What a time to do it. Of course, Sudeikis denies his intentions were to “serve” Wilde at that very moment at CinemaCon. This was supposed to be a very exciting time for her, she was in the middle of comparing her new film to “Inception,” “The Matrix” and “The Truman Show.” Automatic masterpiece.
