Good/Great Movies That Don't Deserve Their “Rotten" Scores

These 31 titles clearly have their share of detractors — that’s why they’re “rotten” — and I expect some people to question a few of these picks. That’s fine. However, I believe most are strong films, worth reevaluating.

Casinos in Movies: What Venues You Can Visit Personally?

May 10, 2021 John Torre
Capture.JPG

It is Hollywood that first presented us with a glamorous image of casino making us crave for a piece of such a right-out-of-a-dream experience. It is quite common for various industries to popularise themselves through TV series and movies which plants the glorified idea in the minds of the viewers. This not only boosts the revenue of the industry but also carefully creates an image with an aura to lure people in towards itself.

It has been undoubtedly in our minds to get an experience of casinos since we first watched movies like Ocean’s 11, Casino Royale, and 21 which made us crave to internalize the experiences of the characters of the movies and hence, to encourage the readers to do the same we are here about to discuss the venues where the shoot of these movies took place and what are the places one can personally visit to feed into that craving. These standalone casinos listed at NonStopCasino below are open for people to visit which has been a part of several noteworthy movies in Hollywood.

Caesar’s Palace

Caesar’s Palace is 600,000 square feet of pure pleasure-giving experiences drowning in lavishness, light, extravagant restaurants, nightclubs, shopping malls, and of course with the sights of celebrities. Caesar’s Palace embodies the image that Las Vegas has in our minds. Although grand hotel rooms were shown in the film Rain Man, the establishment does not possess such a feature.

They deliver iconic experiences featuring games like blackjack, poker, slots, craps, and so on and also welcome new customers with lucrative bonuses. For the ones who do not know, it is the casino where movies like The Hangover series, Iron Man, Dream Girls, and Rain Man were shot.

CIRCUS, CIRCUS

It is where movies like Diamonds Are Forever and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery was shot. The establishment is mainly directed towards family entertainment featuring a dome of five acres showering people with adventurous experiences including roller coasters, foods, acrobats, carnival games, and video arcades.

Apart from the family fun activities, CIRCUS, CIRCUS offers gambling options to adults. In addition to this, they often provide gambling lessons for amateur gamblers.

The Bellagio

The Bellagio has stood the test of time as a classic example of a casino that has caught the attention of the filmmakers of Ocean’s 11. It was in the year 2001 the world witnessed the epic illustration of a classic casino through the eyes of the filmmakers of Ocean’s 11 starring Mega Hollywood stars like George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Andy Garcia, Matt Damon, and so on.

The film was a complete hit that does not only keep viewers stuck to the seats but also hypnotize them into fantasizing about the casino setting splendidly presented to them. The film revealed the grand blackjack tables, sophisticated poker spread, along with the number of slots present at The Bellagio. The film further gives an illustration of the botanical gardens, the lake behind, and also the elaborate lobby of the establishment.

The Mirage Hotel and Casino

The establishment is considered to be one of the most elaborate buildings within the boundaries of Las Vegas. The Mirage hotel and casino got featured in GTA San Diego disguised as the Visage Hotel. Moreover, before that, the 1997 film Vegas Vacation, a comedy flick starring Chevy Chase featured the same venue. In the film, he and his group of friends decide to let loose and do random mindless things in the setting of the same property giving the viewers a sight of the scenic beauty as well as the fun things one can do at The Mirage Hotel and Casino.

Some of those activities include swimming with Dolphins and taking pictures with several wild animals. Gamblers usually gather at the casino floor to find card games and slot games to suit their tastes. They avail bonuses to punters which makes the experience even more exciting. The sports section of the establishment enables people to watch live sports matches and enjoy a drink at the bar.

Planet Hollywood

Viewers can catch a glimpse of Planet Hollywood in movies like what happens in Vegas and somewhere. The entire property is inspired by the concept of Hollywood. It is one of the top-notch places to enjoy with family while staying in Vegas since the establishment is filled with fun activities worth splurging on.

Conclusion

There are several more casinos like the ones listed above that gambling enthusiasts can visit for fun, including The Hippodrome Casino and Red Rock that was featured in Kevin Spacey’s 21, Stardust and Fremont featured in Swinger, and Bally’s of Las Vegas featured in the film Honeymoon in Vegas.

While the pomp and glow are sufficient to mesmerize and amaze everyone, it is important to be mindful while investing real money into casino games. Factors such as House Edge, RTP, wagering conditions, and in-house casino policies play an important role.
