After the Golden Globes win for “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Queen guitarist Brian Maydecided to lash out at critics for their harsh reviews the Freddy Mercury/Queen biopic got last November.
Speaking to members of the press, after the Globes win, May claimed the bad reviews were because critics made the mistake of reviewing the trailer instead of reviewing the film. They jumped to conclusions and once they come to a conclusion "it’s hard for them to withdraw,” said May (via Deadline).
Suffice to say, we're all glad Brian May is sticking to music and not film analysis.
