I’m hearing David Gordon Green has signed up to direct a Lionel Richie musical biopic. Peter Chiarelli (“Crazy Rich Asians”) wrote the screenplay. The film is currently has set up shop at Disney. The way things are moving, I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes into production this year.

Apple Lands Joseph Kosinski’s UFO Conspiracy Thriller

After a heated bidding war, Apple has landed the rights to Joseph Kosinski’s UFO Whistleblower Thriller. Zach Baylin penned the script. No coincidence, Apple is producing Kosinski’s upcoming “F1,” starring Brad Pitt, and set for summer release.
