While Netflix keeps touting gains in subscribers — 300M+ and counting —- Disney+ is bleeding out as it lost 700,000 subscribers over the final three months of 2024, which is what we learned this morning from the Walt Disney Company’s fourth quarter earnings call.

Neon’s using the same template as with ’ “Longlegs.” Cryptic marketing aside, the review embargo has lifted, three weeks before the film is released, but the trades are again not chiming in. It’s only been screened for a select few outlets.

A new report claims Emmy-winning “Shōgun” star Anna Sawai is being eyed for the role of Yoko Ono in Sam Mendes’ quartet of films about the Beatles. The InSneider broke the report, and the potential casting would be the first role outside the band members.

‘Canrival’ is now going to the EFM Berlin Film Market in search of buyers. Italian producer and entrepreneur Andrea Iervolino, who has now boarded the project, says the film could shoot as early as April. Iervolino will also help finance Gilliam’s passion project.
