Warner Bros in the Lead to Acquire Boyle/Garland’s ‘28 Years Later’

Last week, we learned that Danny Boyle and Alex Garland were shopping around “28 Years Later” and that a studio bidding war was currently under way. Jeff Sneider is now reporting that Warner Bros is the frontrunner to nab the rights for the film, which is supposed to be turned into a trilogy.

‘Book of Clarence’ is 2024’s First Box-Office Bomb

Directed by Jeymes Samuel, the film, which screened in over 2000 U.S. theaters, opened to just $2.5 million over the weekend. It barely squeaked into the top 10. The film carries a reported $50 million budget.
