There was competitive bidding surrounding Playwright-writer-director Sophie Fleur de Bruijn’s “One Month Mark,” a rom-com based on her spec script. Apple Original Films has picked up Fleur de Bruijn’s project, and that’s with Jennifer Lawrence who has now attached herself to star and produce the film.
The film follows two individuals, per the synopsis: “she has never made it past a month in a relationship, he has never gone longer than a month without one.”
Lawrence just wrapped Scorsese’s “What Happens at Night.” Her last few film credits include “Don’t Look Up” (2021), “Causeway” (2022), “No Hard Feelings” (2023) and “Die My Love” (2025).
