“Marty Supreme” is officially A24’s highest-grossing film in North America, pulling in $80M domestically as of Monday. The film, which cost north of $70M, has become a rare original, non-IP hit at the box office.
Yesterday, the ping-pong drama edged past “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” which topped out at $77M stateside. That said, “Everything Everywhere” still reigns supreme worldwide with a $142M global haul, but ‘Marty’ will likely exceed that amount by the end of month.
“Marty Supreme,” which is still in the middle of a staggered international rollout, has grossed $17M overseas so far, pushing its global total to $97M, and it has yet to open in key markets, including France, Spain and Germany.
