Tom Holland has been performing many of his own stunts on the set of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” and as a result, he has been injured, suffering a concussion.
According to The Sun, Holland was hospitalized over the weekend. A concussion isn’t something to brush off, and reports suggesting that the actor could be back on set within the next “few days” are concerning. The outcome of a concussion is never certain, and patience is essential.
In the meantime, filming has halted on the Glasgow set of ‘Brand New Day,’ which is scheduled for release in July 2026. A meeting is set for today to adjust the production schedule. The film is on a tight schedule at the moment, and any delays could alter that release date.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (‘Shang-Chi’), the film has a cast that also includes Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando and Liza Colón-Zayas. Other actors have been rumored, but unconfirmed including, oddly enough Sydney Sweeney as Black Cat.
