First Poster for Josh Safdie’s ‘Marty Supreme’ Drops Ahead of Tomorrow’s Trailer

August 12, 2025 Jordan Ruimy

The first poster for Josh Safdie’s “Marty Supreme” has landed, teasing the director’s return to the big screen. A24 will drop the trailer tomorrow, giving us our first proper look at the film, which has been shrouded in secrecy since it was announced.

As I wrote yesterday, there’s chatter that Marty Supreme could pull off a surprise screening at a major fall festival. I can’t share specifics yet, but it would easily be one of the hottest tickets of the season. Safdie’s last outing, “Uncut Gems,” was a critical and cultural lightning rod — expectations here are sky-high.

We’ll have much more to dissect once the trailer hits tomorrow, but for now, the poster offers just enough to keep us guessing, in huge letters, no less.
