‘A Quiet Place 3’ Greenlit by Paramount

March 9, 2025 Jordan Ruimy

With John Krasinski’s ‘A Quiet Place 3’ having now been greenlit, as confirmed by franchise producer Brad Fuller (via The Direct), they must now gather all of their creative brains together and come up with a name.

The potential titles are endless for this third chapter in the shushing franchise.

Qui3t Place
A Qui3t Plac3
A Good Day to Quiet Hard
Be Quiet With A Vengeance
A Quiet Place in Space
A Quiet Place 3

Whatever title Krasinski chooses to go with, and as can be attested above, he has many options, one thing is for certain: this franchise has run its course.

Who’s asking for this a third ‘Quiet Place’? This was a one movie idea. Maybe Paramount posting $286M in Fourth Quarter Losses has something to do with it, and they are struggling to enter the post-Shari Redstone era in the company.

“A Quiet Place,” released in 2018, was a strong directorial effort from Krasinski. It even made my top 10 list that year. The second one, released three years later, was mediocre. Last year, we got the prequel, “A Quiet Place: Day One,” which led us back to when the alien invasion first started.

The threequel was first announced by Paramount in 2022, shortly after “A Quiet Place Part II.” It was initially revealed with a 2025 release date, but was ultimately abandoned in favor of ‘Day One.’ Now, it’s back and according to Fuller, Krasinski will direct it.
