Edward Berger’s “Conclave” will be contending for many Oscars. The reviews have been great as it currently sits at 92% on Rotten Tomatoes and 79 on Metacritic. The film has also been doing very well at the box-office, having already amassed $28M domestically. These great numbers will likely be diminishing very soon as “Conclave” has now set up a November 26 date on VOD — that’s exactly four weeks after its theatrical launch, which occurred on October 26.
Warner Bros.’ “The End of Oak Street” is not doing well. The $80M movie grossed an estimated $8M on Friday from 3446 theaters, including previews. It’s now looking at around an $18M opening.
