Here’s a trailer for Grant Singer’s “Reptile.” The film stars Benicio del Toro as a New England detective who works to solve the murder of a real estate agent, and as a result of the case experiences doubts about himself. Justin Timberlake and Alicia Silverstone co-star. This is Singer’s directorial debut, his background is music videos. Based on the trailer, the style and look Singer goes for here can only be described as Fincher-esque — especially the desaturated yellow look of the whole thing. “Reptile” is set to have its world premiere next month at TIFF and will stream via Netflix on October 6th.
