I decided to skip this morning’s press screening of “The Marvels” and instead watched “Saltburn.” I figured I can catch it at another screening tomorrow morning. Judging by the early reactions, if Disney had any hope that good reviews could maybe benefit the box-office of ‘Marvels’ then they’re out of luck. The embargo has lifted and critics don’t seem to like the movie. It’s at 54% on Rotten Tomatoes and 54 on Metacritic. As it stands, within the MCU cannon, only “Ant-Man and the Wasp” and “Eternals” have had worse reviews than “The Marvels.”
