Here’s the trailer for Wes Ball’s “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” (05.24.23). It started with a simple “NO!” in 2014, but the apes now have a firmer grasp of the English language. ‘Kingdom,’ taking place a few generations after the last one, looks to be a continuation of the previous trilogy, which peaked with Matt Reeves’ 2017 blockbuster “War for the Planet of the Apes.” As with the previous trilogy, the CGI looks stunning. I just hope Ball was the right pick to helm this sequel, I did not like “The Maze Runner” at all.
