THR is reporting that “Coyote Vs Acme” screenings, for potential buyers, are being set up to take place this month. Amazon, Apple and Netflix have emerged as serious candidates to acquire the axed Looney Tunes movie. They add that Warners’ sudden reversal to not shelve the movie came after several filmmakers reportedly instructed their reps to cancel meetings they had on the books with the studio. A sense of panic ensued at Warners and they finally decided to change course.
