Not that I care much about “Deadpool 3”, but it was supposed kick off the summer movie season on May 3, 2024 — it has now been delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. Only half of the film had been shot before the July 14 strike began. This is a crushing blow for theaters, with Deadline reporting that we can soon expect more summer titles to get delayed.
