‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ Trailer Coming Sooner Than Expected

July 22, 2022 Jordan Ruimy

The teaser for Martin Scorsese's “Killers of The Flower Moon” has been rated, and should be out in the coming days, along with the first poster. That’s what a source is telling me, and again acknowledging that Apple is aiming for a December release.

Of course, this is just a teaser, but it will be our first opportunity to watch footage of Scorsese’s latest epic, which stars Leonard DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons and Robert DeNiro (in a smaller role than expected).

The film privately screened for Paramount/Apple folks a few weeks ago, and I have been told that “it is a bravura piece of filmmaking in all areas, and with a social consciousness, as the book was, at its heart”.

Suffice to say, the big bosses dug it and now it’s set to begin its marketing campaign. The standouts, according to those in-the-know, are DiCaprio, and, especially, Gladstone — both will be getting a heavy awards push.

I know it’s insane to even think about it, but Scorsese has only won one directing Oscar in his historic filmmaking career, ‘Killers’ could be his best chance at winning another one.
