Madonna Has Decided to Direct Biopic About Her Own Life

March 1, 2022 Jordan Ruimy

Madonna is a terrible director. She’s already perpetrated on us the unwatchable “W.E,” and the atrocious “Filth and Wisdom,” but that clearly wasn’t enough.

She is now set to direct her own life story.

According to The Ankler’s Jeff Sneider, Madonna is going to direct a movie about her own life, co-written with Diablo Cody. Rumored actresses to take on the role include Julia Garner, Florence Pugh, and two unnamed “Euphoria” actresses.

Why would Universal run the risk of financing Madonna directing a movie about herself which she’s also written? Maybe because the singer gave them an ultimatum: it’s my way or the highway.

This could be a disaster in the making.
