Bollywood Hit ‘Jai Bhim’ Could Win Popular Film Oscar

February 16, 2022 Jordan Ruimy

The saying these last few years has been, “Russia, Russia, RUSSIA!” It's a very easy scapegoat to blame ruthless Russian head Vladimir Putin for absolutely everything that goes wrong in the world.

The quirky and nauseating CNN anchor Ana Navarro was on “The View” today touting that the newly installed #OscarsFanFavorite category might be compromised by, wait for it, Russian troll farms:

“I think you’re gonna have some big studio hiring some troll farm in Russia or God knows where, and people are gonna be voting over and over again. It’s gonna be all those bots.”

Russia has the cumulative GDP of Italy. I’m sure Putin is more concerned right now with his Russian troops at the Ukrainian border, not to mention international pressure for him to retreat, than the Snyder Cut winning the popular Oscar.

You know what’s more of a joke? Twitter users can vote up to 20 times per day for the Popular Film Oscar. Talk about compromised …

On a side note; have the Oscars forgotten that a film from the Indian film industry can quite easily win? There’s a heavily loaded campaign right now with Indian film fans to vote for Indian Bollywood blockbuster Jai Bhim as many times as possible.

Gavia Baker-Whitelaw tweeted, “I will happily stay up until 4am for the oscars if it means i get to watch a Marvel executive get halfway up out of his chair, only for the Twitter Oscar to be awarded to the blockbuster Tamil-language legal drama Jai Bhim”

They don’t realize the madness of Tamil and Indian film twitter. Congrats to “Jai Bhim” and team in advance.
