‘Banshees,’ ‘Fabelmans’ ‘Bones and All’ and ‘She Said’ All Set For VOD on December 13th

December 1, 2022 Jordan Ruimy

I mentioned two days ago that Steven Spielberg’s “The Fabelmans” would be headed to VOD on December 13th. It hasn’t even been in theaters for a month and it’ll already be available to stream.

Today we learned that “She Said” (December 6th), “Bones and All” (December 13th) and “The Banshees of Inisherin” (December 13th) are also VOD bound this month. Curiously, “Glass Onion,” which had a one-week theatrical run, will only be streaming via Netflix on Christmas week.

These titles, alongside other Oscar buzzed films already available online (“Till,” “Armageddon Time,” and “TÁR,” “The Woman King”), make it very easy for cinephiles to catch up with all the Oscar contenders. It also renders the theatrical experience even more obsolete by giving people the option of just not going to the cinema and waiting it out for home viewing.

“Babylon” hasn’t budged yet and is set for a December 23rd wide release. There is currently no VOD date for it, but I presume it might in to theaters for a month or two, at least until the Golden Globe nominations are announced in late January.
