Eyes Down

Eyes Down is a British comedy written by Angela Clarke and directed by Christine Gernon. This TV show was first aired on 15 August 2003 and starring Paul O'Grady as Ray Temple who is a manager of a bingo hall in Liverpool, England called The Rio. This boss is always frustrated and takes out his anger to his customers with a vitriolic tongue lashing. In this BBC One sitcom, the scenes are full of fun in which this sarcastic manager used to overlook his staff. The series has 15 episodes and each episode approximately runs 30 minutes. The show ran for two series and was cancelled by the BBC in 2004. Other actors’ performances entertain and emerge the audience and some of them include Rosie Cavaliero, Tony Maudsley, Sheridan Smith, Margaret John, and many others.

Family Reunion (Netflix)

Created by Meg DeLoatch, Family Reunions is an American comedy TV series that was first released in July 2019 on Netflix. Actually, on October 17, 2018, this American streaming platform had given the production of series with the first season containing twenty episodes. The second part was aired on January 20, 2020, while the third part was on April 5, 2021. The 4 episode was launched on August 26, 2021. Family Reunion is about a family of six who travels from Seattle to Georgia for the McKellan family reunion. Despite their habits to live in the big city, they decide to stay to be closer to their family. The main character Louise McKellan or M'Dear (portrayed by Loretta Devine) becomes obsessed with bingo. This comedy sitcom is starring Tia Mowry, Anthony Alabi, Talia Jackson, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Jordyn Raya James, Loretta Devine, and Cameron J. Wright.

The Simpsons

For those who want to discover the modern culture of the American middle-class family, they should watch the Simpsons TV Series. Written by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company, this worldwide TV show was first aired on December 17, 1989. This American animated series has, actually, over 700 episodes. One of the remarkable episodes that have favoured the viewers’ screens is when the retirees don't seem to be interested in the bingo. When the caller asks to check the number “I25”, the retirees are a mess until they realize that they’re playing bingo. The show has six main characters who are the members of the Simpson family such as Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Santa's Little Helper (dog), and Snowball II (cat). With a running time between 21 and 24 minutes, this longest-running sitcom has gathered a larger fan base.
