Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig Reunite For Untitled Netflix Movie

November 6, 2020 Jordan Ruimy

What’s On Netflix is reporting that an untitled Netflix film directed by Noah Baumbach is set to begin filming and could possibly be ready by the end of 2021. We also know that Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig are currently attached to play the two lead roles in the new film, which still has no plot details.

Baumbach is the New York-born director of indie classics such as “The Squid and the Whale, ” and “Frances Ha.” This would be his fourth film with partner and muse Gerwig, after “Frances Ha,” “Greenberg,” and “Mistress America.” Meanwhile, Driver starred and was Oscar-nominated for his work in Baumbach’s 2019 film “Marriage Story.”

This latest Netflix title can be added to the streaming giant’s stacked 2021 lineup which includes films by stalwart directors such as Richard Linklater, Zack Snyder, Andrew Dominik, Adam McKay, Guillermo del Toro, Jane Campion, and Henry Selick.
