‘Motherless Brooklyn’ Trailer: Edward Norton Adapts Jonathan Lethem's Novel

August 22, 2019 Jordan Ruimy

“Motherless Brooklyn” will close out the 57th edition of the upcoming New York Film Festival this coming October. The Warner Bros. drama will also screen at the Telluride Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival next month.

Our very own Theo Fisher has the synopsis:

“Edward Norton directs his first feature since 2000’s “Keeping the Faith” with this adaptation of Jonathan Lethem’s novel of the same name. Norton himself stars as private detective Lionel Essog, himself afflicted with Tourette’s, as he battles to solve the death of long-time friend and mentor frank Minna, played by Bruce Willis. The hard-hitting crime thriller also has a good supporting cast which includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Willem Dafoe, and Leslie Mann”

“Motherless Brooklyn” will be in theaters November 1st.

Watch intrigue and drama unfold in the trailer for MOTHERLESS BROOKLYN, starring Writer/Director Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, with Alec Baldwin and Willem Dafoe. Only in theaters November 1. ___ http://www.facebook.com/MotherlessBrooklyn http://twitter.com/MotherlessBKLYN http://www.instagram.com/motherlessbklyn http://www.motherlessbrooklynfilm.com https://pages.warnerbros.com/MotherlessBrooklyn --- Lionel Essrog (Edward Norton), a lonely private detective living with Tourette Syndrome, ventures to solve the murder of his mentor and only friend, Frank Minna (Bruce Willis).
