Remember Barbet Schroeder’s “Single White Female”? A guilty pleasure thriller, starring Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh, that could have only been made in the ‘90s. A remake is now in the works.

Multiple studios and streamers are bidding for Scorsese’s film, but Netflix seems to have the upper hand by outbidding the competition. Now, it remains to be seen if Scorsese will accept the streamer’s offer.

An update on Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another.” It’s been finally confirmed, via WGA filing, that the film was “inspired” by Thomas Pynchon’s “Vineland.”

Sadie Sink (“Stranger Things”) has been cast in ‘Spider-Man 4.’ She will co-star with Tom Holland. The prevailing theory is that Sink will be introduced as Jean Grey in the film.

A trailer for Disney’s live-action/CGI remake of “Lilo & Stitch” (05.23.25) has just been released. It doesn’t look like a shot for shot remake, and Chris Sanders returning to voice Stitch certainly helps.

A teaser has been released for “Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues”. It sees the band’s signature amplifier getting turned “up to eleven” — a reference to the first film’s iconic gag.
