Netflix Plans to Theatrically Release More Movies

An IndieWire source says Netflix has already called IMAX about theatrically releasing “other films.” There’s very little doubt other top Netflix talent will want the same deal Gerwig just made for ‘Narnia,’ and I would bet Rian Johnson’s ‘Knives Out 3’ could be the next film to get that treatment.

‘Wolf Man' Earns $1.4M on Thursday

Sure, the reviews are bad, but “Wolf Man” is a horror movie, and the genre absolutely sells these days at the box-office. Leigh Whannell’s disappointing reboot, which cost $25M to make, raked in $1.4M in Thursday previews. It should be able to hit the $20M mark by Sunday evening.
