Colman Domingo to Direct ‘Scandalous' —Sydney Sweeney as Kim Novak

Colman Domingo is set to make his directorial debut in “Scandalous,” which is set to shoot Q2 2025. A Miramax production, the drama will tackle the hush-hush love affair between actress Kim Novak (“Vertigo”) and singer Sammy Davis Jr. in 1957. Sydney Sweeney will play Novak, and David Jonsson will play Davis Jr. (via Deadline).

Marvel's ‘Blade' Delayed Indefinitely ...

Not much of a surprise, Marvel Studios’ “Blade” has been nixed from Marvel/Disney’s release calendar and won’t be coming out on November 7, 2025. This in all likelihood means that the film will also not be going into production next month, which is the date that was being eyed all year.

Kogonada's ‘A Big Bold Beautiful Journey' Tests Screens For Third Time

Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu’s Next Film Starts Production in November

Variety is reporting that, while the start date is yet to be confirmed, it could be as early as next month. I was recently told that January was the target date, but they might now be shooting a month or two earlier. That’s great news for a potential 2025 release.

Warner Bros. Might Move PTA's ‘Baktan Cross' to June/July 2025 Date
