This morning, Searchlight revealed a trailer for “A Real Pain,” which is set to open in limited release on November 1, and expand its theater count a few weeks after that.

If any film merits such an honor, then I guess it might as well be Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis.” On Letterboxd, it has almost the same number of 1-star as 5-star reviews.

Whenever the topic of Leonardo DiCaprio’s acting talents comes into conversation, it’s either he’s overrated or underrated, there’s no in-between. I’m sure that debate will continue on here.

It looks like Warner Bros has decided to unveil the trailer for Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” tomorrow. It was originally set to release online sometime in early October. It’ll be interesting to get a first glimpse at what Coogler/Jordan have concocted here.

Deadline is reporting that Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are set to star in the adaptation of the classic novel. Robbie is set to star as Catherine Earnshaw, and Elordi will play Heathcliff. Fennell is set to write, direct and produce. 

Steven Soderbergh‘s spy thriller “Black Bag” recently set up a March 14, 2025, release date, via Focus Features. Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender star in the film alongside Regé-Jean Page, Marisa Abela, Naomie Harris, Tom Burke and Pierce Brosnan.

“Rumors” currently has a 70 on Metacritic and 83% on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s nowhere near Maddin’s best film, that honor would have to go to “My Winnipeg.” The film is expected to arrive in theaters on October 18, via Bleecker Street. You can watch the new trailer above.

Not that surprising but India has officially snubbed acclaimed Cannes drama “All We Imagine As Light,” and instead chosen “Laapataa Ladies” as their Oscar submission in the International Film race.

Within 72 hours, and Cregger formally passing on “Clue,” apparently due to an issue of money — Sony offered him $1.5 million against $4 million — the filmmaker is now attached to helm the studio’s ‘Resident Evil’ reboot.
