A24 has dated Brady Corbet’s “The Brutalist” with an awards-ready December 20 release date. No word yet on whether the 3-hour 35-minute film will have a 15-minute intermission, much like it did at the fall fests, but there’s no reason to believe it won’t.

Even if the ‘Black Panther’ movies did nothing for me, I can’t deny Ryan Coogler’s directorial talents, Coogler directed the hell out of 2015’s “Creed” and he’s now back to original storytelling, for the first time since 2013’s “Fruitvale Station,” with “Sinners.”

Steven Soderbergh's ‘Black Bag' Might Be The Longest Film of His Career (148 Minutes)

Guy Maddin's ‘Rumors' Has A Trailer

“Rumors” currently has a 70 on Metacritic and 83% on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s nowhere near Maddin’s best film, that honor would have to go to “My Winnipeg.” The film is expected to arrive in theaters on October 18, via Bleecker Street. You can watch the new trailer above.
