Shooting started around a week ago in Southwestern France (Angoulême). Also, contrary to prior speculation, the movie is not a musical. Rather, the film is said be to be a "love letter to journalists set at an outpost of an American newspaper in 20th-century Paris and centers on three storylines."
The movie stars Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Benicio del Toro and Timothée Chalamet. Rumored but unconfirmed for the project: Brad Pitt, Natalie Portman and Lea Seydoux.
