Todd Phillips posted on his Instagram a Valentine’s Day treat for ‘Joker’ fans. Our first look at Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in “Joker: Folie a Deux.”
This comes after it was learned that SAG had received a complaint about a break time violation from some of the crew working on the set of Phillips’ sequel. Production's been cooperative and SAG is now investigating and monitoring the set.
The French term “folie a deux” is a psychological term derived from when two people engage in a shared delusive reality together. You think Phillips wants to go back to Venice? “Joker” won the Golden Lion there in 2019, the sequel making it into competition would be strange, but not surprising. It does have a fall movie season release date, so anything is possible.
Filming began in December and should continue until April. "Joker: Folie à Deux" is set to be released in 2024 ...
