Here’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, a trailer Jonathan Majors’ “comeback vehicle” — titled “Run Hide Fight: Infidels,” and backed by Ben Shapiro’s The Daily Wire.
From the very first frame we already know what we’re in for as an arabic man, armed to the tilt, with young captives utters, “We who love and serve Allah, we fight back against the Americans and the Zionists and the scourge of secularism.”
Page Six Hollywood warned us that “liberals heads will explode” once we see the trailer for this $5M movie tackling “American warriors rising with unbreakable grit and unrelenting firepower to defend the homeland when threats strike at its heart.”
“Run Hide Fight: Infidels,” is about “radical Islamic terrorists” who surround a liberal college’s pro-Palestine encampment to enforce “barbaric Sharia law” on students and execute infidels. The heroes? A ragtag band of students, with red white and blue blooded DNA: a security guard tired of “Uncle Tom” smears, and a Delta Force vet (Majors). They all must “arm up” to save their clueless peers and keep America from surrendering to the enemy on its own soil.
The film’s producer, Dallas Sonnier, didn’t hold back when asked by Page Six what he hoped to accomplish with the film: “The woke mind virus has captured Hollywood for the past 12 years, and while woke is winding down, there is a new obsession with the anti-Israel, pro-Palestine movement that deserves to be mocked in a movie again.”
He added: “If you’re afraid to put radical jihadis as your villains, then you’re a wimpy movie producer. We don’t have that fear.”
And yes, this is the same film where Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne fell through a window during filming, sparking production complaints over alleged unsafe conditions and a strike by more than half the crew. And if Armie Hammer’s comeback vehicle was an anti-Islamic movie directed by Uwe Boll, Majors’ comeback isn’t exactly far removed from that territory. Is this the next “Citizen Vigilante”?
“Run Hide Fight: Infidels,” directed by Kyle Rankin, will launch on The Daily Wire’s streaming platform September 16.
Eisenberg has made a surreal nightmare of a comedy, one that's a step up in polish. It helps that Moore is wildly unhinged here — this performance is something to see, and some of her strongest work in years.
