That secret title has been added to complete the Competition of the 83rd Venice Film Festival.
The film is “NAZA,” a new work by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, two of the four co-directors of the 2025 Oscar-winning documentary “No Other Land.” It’s produced by The Guardian, and and executive produced by Jonathan Glazer (“The Zone of Interest”).
Synopsis: “Shot at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, the film reveals in detail the systems behind Israel’s calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza”.
“NAZA” will screen at Venice Film Festival on September 10 at 5:15 p.m. in the Sala Grande at the Palazzo del Cinema.
If the movie is as rough as some in the industry seem to fear, that teaser may have been less of a marketing campaign and more of a public plea for somebody to finally take the damn thing.
