After many delays, David Robert Mitchell’s “The End of Oak Street” (previously ‘Flowervale Street’) will finally have its first trailer released next week. Furthermore, the film is 100 minutes.
The film stars Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway and has been described as an “‘80s-set thrill ride,” shot on “IMAX,” and with a budget of around $85M. Recently confirmed: there are dinosaurs. Lots of them. Warner Bros co-film chief Michael De Luca compares the film to a “Twilight Zone” episode.
Mitchell, known best for the decade-defining horror “It Follows,” and whose last film was released eight years ago (“Under the Silver Lake”), is set to have a busy year as he is also slated to shoot “They Follow” in early summer, with Maika Monroe returning as the lead.
“The End of Oak Street” is set to hit theaters August 14, 2026 via Warner Bros.
