Ruben Östlund Cast in ‘The Studio’ Season Two

March 23, 2026 Jordan Ruimy

I’m hearing two-time Palme d’Or winner Ruben Östlund (“Triangle of Sadness”) will appear in the second season of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Apple TV+ series “The Studio.”

No confirmed plot or character details yet, but Östlund will most likely be playing a version of himself. Shooting has already wrapped, with no premiere date set just yet — I’d guess most likely fall 2026.

Other rumored guest stars for this second season of “The Studio” include Madonna, Julia Garner, Michael Keaton, and Donald Glover. The main cast returnees include Rogen, Ike Barinholtz, Kathryn Hahn, and Chase Sui Wonders.
