Damien Chazelle’s untitled prison movie, which is eyeing a March 2026 shoot in Greece, has added Mia Threapleton to its cast — she’s coming off her breakout role in Wes Anderson’s “The Phoenician Scheme.” Oh, and she’s Kate Winslet’s daughter.
Threapleton joins a cast that already includes Daniel Craig, Cillian Murphy, and Michelle Williams. Lol Crawley (“The Brutalist”) is serving as cinematographer, while Chazelle’s longtime collaborator Justin Hurwitz will compose the score.
No plot details have leaked surrounding the film, beyond the fact that it’s set in a prison and inspired by ’70s New Hollywood cinema. This will mark Chazelle’s sixth feature; his previous works include “Whiplash,” “La La Land,” “First Man,” and “Babylon.”
