Oh, lord — please don’t let this happen. We already have two Avengers movies coming up, we don’t need a third one. This is starting to feel less like a cinematic event and more like an endurance test.
It’s more than enough that “Avengers: Doomsday” has December 2026, and. Its follow-up, “Avengers: Secret Wars,” will hit theaters a year later, but to milk it this way is uncalled for — stop the madness.
The latest rumor has both The Hot Mic’s John Rocha and DanielRPK claiming that Marvel might split 'Secret Wars' into two parts if 'Doomsday' proves to be successful. Oh, and ‘Doomsday’ runs nearly three hours.
There’s still some time to backtrack on this idea, but who are we kidding here? The ‘Doomsday’ trailers have already surpassed 1 billion views, and that’s due to Marvel recreating the formula of ‘Avengers’ by squeezing in as many big names as possible into a single movie. The nostalgia needs to keep pumping.
