Sony Exec Reportedly Called Blake Lively “A F**king Terrorist” Over ‘It Ends With Us’ Drama

Boy, these private texts and emails involving Sony Pictures executives and “It Ends With Us” star Blake Lively are quite something. Lots of exposing going on here.

In case you’re unaware, the seeds of the controversy were planted during and after the 2024 production of “It Ends With Us,” the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel that starred Lively and was directed by Justin Baldoni. Lively has alleged a hostile work environment and inappropriate behavior by Baldoni, which she has pursued via multiple lawsuits and filings. Baldoni, for his part, has strongly denied those claims and mounted his own countersuits.

Amid this backdrop, newly unsealed texts and internal emails from Sony execs have been entered into court records. Among the most, err, striking revelations are reactions from senior Sony leadership regarding Lively’s conduct during the production and publicity campaigns.

Take for example, Sony executive Andrea Giannetti using a peculiar term to describe Lively in a private discussion — labeling her a “f—ing terrorist” in the context of contract negotiations and creative control.

“She orchestrated all this drama in a totally unsavvy and amateur way…” — Sony Pictures Entertainment EVP Tahra Grant confided to her colleagues.

Sony Motion Picture Group president Sandford Panitch wrote: “She did it to herself,” referring to decisions Sony believed hurt the film’s publicity.

Perhaps the most amusing text involves Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, reportedly calling Baldoni “a human rounding error,” and labeled studio executives “fucking textbook, ineffectual elderly people…”

Welcome to Hollywood, where vanity reigns supreme, grudges are eternal, and everyone talks like a studio memo will never end up as a court exhibit. The only real surprise here isn’t what was said, but that anyone involved still believes private messages stay private.
