First Clip: Lynne Ramsay’s ‘Die, My Love’

May 15, 2025 Jordan Ruimy

One of the most anticipated films of Cannes 2025 is Lynne Ramsay’s “Die, My Love.” Here’s the first footage released of the film, which is supposed to screen on the Croisette this weekend.

Apparently, Ramsay shot this film in 1.33:1 and, partially, on the very rare Kodak Ektachrome. The film, an adaptation of a novel by Argentine writer Ariana Harwicz, is being described as a stark tale set in rural France of a woman driven to the brink of insanity by marriage and motherhood.

“Die, My Love” stars Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson and LaKeith Stanfield. Ramsay co-wrote the script with Enda Walsh. There is currently no distributor backing the film.
