Coming off a buzzy turn as Bruce Springsteen in ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere,’ which earned him a Golden Globe nomination, Jeremy Allen White is set to have a very busy 2026.
Sources tell Nexus Point News that White is in talks to join the cast of A24’s “Peaked,” which co-stars his real-life girlfriend Molly Gordon.
Gordon is also directing from a script she co-wrote with Allie Levitan (“Adults,” “Saturday Night Live”). “Peaked” marks Gordon’s second film as a director and her first as a solo director.
The film follows two women in their late twenties, Bobby (Gordon) and Millie, who were once the most popular girls in their high school but have since amounted to nothing. After not receiving an invitation to their 10-year high school reunion, they decide to crash it.
White has a busy slate ahead. He stars in A24’s “Enemies,” opposite Austin Butler, releasing this year, as well as Aaron Sorkin’s “The Social Reckoning” and “The Mandalorian Grogu.” He’s also supposed to shoot Jeremiah Zagar’s ‘Painted Bride’ sometime this year.
Gordon made her directorial debut with “Theater Camp,” which she also starred in and which became an audience hit at Sundance 2023. She’s best known for her roles in “Booksmart,” “Shiva Baby,” and FX’s “The Bear,” where she stars alongside White, who is also her boyfriend.
“Peaked” is set to shoot in January.
