There’s this really good two-minute trailer for Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” playing in front of non-IMAX screenings of “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” one that I find more impressive than the prologue and that gives us various different scenes and shots of the upcoming film.
That trailer is going to be released online tomorrow. It’ll be the first official footage Universal has released online for the film. I’m not sure about the exact time, but we can probably expect it sometime in the morning.
As for the six-minute prologue, that’s a theater-only thing; it won’t be made available online. Suffice it to say, things are ramping up for Nolan’s upcoming epic, which releases theatrically in a little over seven months on July 17, 2026.
