Oscar-winner Kathy Bates, 76, says she is retiring. Her final role will be in the upcoming ‘Matlock’ reboot series (“This is my last dance”). Bates’ best performance was as Annie Wilkes in “Misery,” which won her the acting Oscar. Her other memorable turns could be found in “Dolores Clairborne,” “Richard Jewell,” “Titanic” “About Schmidt” and “Fried Green Tomatoes.”
As expected, Snyder's latest is being torn apart by TIFF attendees. No mercy given. The film, which had its world premiere this evening, is being called by some one of the worst movies to ever premiere at the festival.
