Here’s a shocker (and I’m being sarcastic here). Hunter Schafer is confused by reports that “Euphoria” will return. Schafer hasn’t gotten any scripts and hasn’t been told anything about a third season.
HBO recently confirmed that Season 3 would begin filming in January 2025. The entire cast, including Schafer, Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, are supposed to return. However, Schafer (via IndieWire) says things are still uncertain and has “no f*cking idea” if the third season will actually happen.
“The real tea is I have no f*cking idea what’s going on,” the “Cuckoo” star said, “and you can ask literally all of the cast.” Schafer additionally says that all of the controversies that recently occurred “threw everyone for a loop.”
Back in July, I blew up social media. A source close to the cast had contacted me, bitterly angry and saying that the third season was “canceled” by HBO. Damage control happened soon after, and now the network wants us to believe that a January 2025 shoot will occur. Judging by Schafer’s comments, I remain skeptical.
