Oscar-winning cinematographer Greig Fraser is shooting “Project Hail Mary.” The film, directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, stars Ryan Gosling and Sandra Hüller and is based on Andy Weir’s novel of the same name.
Fraser, who is one of the best and most talented of his craft, will also be returning as the director of photography for “The Batman: Part II,” whenever that one shoots, possibly in early 2025.
Fraser’s other DP credits include “Dune,” “Foxcatcher,” “Killing Them Softly,” “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Vice.” His most recent work was on Gareth Edwards’ 2023 sci-fi film “The Creator.” Fraser won’t be taking part in Edwards’ next film, the latest ‘Jurassic Park,’ which is probably a wise decision on his part.
